If you've walked through a luxury home theater, a hedge fund boardroom, a five-star hotel ballroom, or a flagship retail space in the last decade, you've probably been looking at an LG display. Twelve years after launching the world's first OLED TV in 2013, LG still owns the reference-grade display category—and the 2026 lineup is the strongest the company has shipped yet.
For integrators like us, LG is rare in offering one vendor we can spec across all four of our divisions: residential theaters, commercial AV, hospitality properties, and government/military signage. Here's what's shipping in 2026 and how we're using it.
The 2026 OLED lineup, decoded
LG's 2026 OLED family follows a tier structure that maps cleanly to project budget and design intent:
- G6 OLED evo — The flagship Gallery Design with Hyper Radiant Color, the new a11 AI Processor Gen 3, and Reflection Free Premium glass. Hangs flush like artwork with the included Gallery wall mount. Available 55"–97".
- M6 / M5 OLED evo Wireless — The world's first True Wireless TV. The display hangs alone; the Zero Connect Box sits up to 30 feet away and beams 4K 144Hz video and Dolby Atmos audio wirelessly. Game-changer for installations where the client refuses to see source equipment.
- C6 OLED evo — The everyday workhorse. Perfect Black, Perfect Color, the a11 AI Processor Gen 3, FILMMAKER MODE, and Dolby Vision Gaming at 4K 144Hz. Available 42"–83".
- B6 OLED — The value-tier entry into LG OLED with Perfect Black, Vivid Color, AI-refined picture, and the LG Smart TV platform with AI. Available up to 83".
Hyper Radiant Color: the 2026 flagship story
LG's headline 2026 panel technology is Hyper Radiant Color—debuting on the G6. It's a new emission layer engineered to expand the color gamut beyond what previous OLED generations could reach, while preserving the per-pixel black-level control that put OLED on the integrator spec sheet in the first place.
Pair that with Reflection Free Premium glass (it diffuses ambient light without compromising contrast), the Flush Fit Gallery Design (LG's thinnest depth profile to date), and the a11 AI Processor Gen 3, and you have the most "any room, any lighting" reference panel LG has ever shipped.
The M-Series: an integrator weapon
The LG OLED M-Series is the install we get the most questions about. The 77" M5 hangs on the wall with one thin clear power cable—no HDMI runs, no Cat6 to the TV. The Zero Connect Box (which holds four HDMI 2.1 inputs, eARC, USB, antenna, and Wi-Fi) can sit up to 30 feet away in a closet, cabinet, or rack and beam 4K 144Hz video plus Dolby Atmos audio wirelessly.
For the kind of remodels and high-end new construction we work on—where a client has signed off on a fully integrated kitchen wall, a marble fireplace surround, or a designer-built media wall and absolutely does not want to chase cabling—M-Series eliminates the problem entirely.
LG's commercial side: signage, dvLED, and laser projection
The OLED TV is the consumer-facing product, but LG's Business division extends the brand into every commercial space we touch:
- LG Digital Signage — UHD signage, video walls, transparent OLED, stretch displays, outdoor displays, and high-brightness window-facing screens for hospitality and retail.
- LG dvLED Direct View — fine-pitch direct-view LED video walls for corporate lobbies, broadcast environments, and luxury hospitality.
- LG Pro:Centric Hospitality TVs — TVs engineered specifically for hotels with custom welcome screens, room-control integration, and centralized management.
- LG CineBeam Laser Projection — 4K laser projectors for screening rooms, large meeting spaces, and outdoor entertainment.
- LG webOS Signage Platform — content management, scheduling, and remote diagnostics across deployed LG commercial displays.
Why LG controls the OLED stack
One reason LG is unavoidable in the high-end display conversation: LG Display manufactures the W-OLED panels that go into virtually every premium OLED TV sold worldwide. When LG ships a flagship like the G6, they're shipping panels they built themselves. That vertical integration—panel manufacturing, processor design, and webOS software all under one roof—is why LG can lead on color science (Hyper Radiant Color), processing (a11 AI Gen 3), and form factor (M-Series Wireless, Flush Fit Gallery) year after year.
How Restrepo Innovations specs LG
Across our four divisions, LG is one of the few display vendors we use everywhere:
- Residential dedicated theaters and great rooms: G6 Gallery (flush wall art) or C6 (everyday workhorse). When a designer-built media wall has zero tolerance for visible cabling: M-Series Wireless.
- Hospitality: LG Pro:Centric TVs in guest rooms; signage and dvLED in lobbies, conference centers, and restaurants.
- Commercial and corporate: Digital signage and dvLED for lobbies, meeting rooms, and broadcast environments.
- Government/Military: Commercial-grade displays with extended warranties, centralized management, and compliance documentation.
Michael Restrepo on the partnership: "LG is the rare display vendor that lets us hold one spec across residential, hospitality, and commercial work. The 2026 G6 with Hyper Radiant Color is the new reference; the M-Series solves the cable problem on every design-driven install; and the commercial signage and dvLED lines give us hospitality and corporate coverage from the same partner. For luxury homes, hedge fund offices, and hotel projects across NJ, NY, and the Hamptons, LG is on every short list."
