Read this first
If you have searched "best Crestron dealers in New Jersey," you have already met the problem with this category. The results are almost entirely dealers writing about themselves. Most of these pages are not buyer's guides; they are advertisements with the word "best" in the title. We are about to do the same thing, so we are going to be honest about it up front: we are Restrepo Innovations, we are an Elite Pro Crestron Dealer, and we put ourselves at number one. Read on and decide whether we earned it.
What separates this guide from the rest of the field is that we list five other dealers who would also serve you well, with their actual strengths and the markets they actually cover. New Jersey is a big state. Bergen County, Monmouth County, and Mercer County are different worlds. The right Crestron dealer for an estate in Alpine is not the right one for a Jersey Shore beach house. We will tell you why.
If you only have a minute, here is the answer: call us if you are in Bergen, Essex, Morris, Passaic, or Hudson, or in the luxury corridor up to Greenwich. Call HiDEF if you are at the Shore. Call Audio Video alignment if you are in Mercer or Hunterdon. Call Osbee or Audio Command Systems if your project crosses into Manhattan or the Hamptons. The full reasoning follows.
Methodology: how we ranked these
We weighted six things, in this order:
- Crestron certification depth. Elite Pro is the highest dealer tier. Authorized is the entry tier. The gap between them is real. Programmer count, certifications held, and whether the dealer has its own programmers on staff (versus subcontracting) all matter.
- Service area honesty. A dealer that claims "all of New Jersey" but is in Cape May will not show up at your Tenafly home in eight hours. We weighted dealers that are explicit about where they actually work.
- Adjacent platform competence. A great Crestron house is rarely just Crestron. Lutron lighting, Ketra tuning, Ubiquiti or Cisco networking, and Savant or Control4 history all change what a dealer can deliver. We rewarded breadth.
- Honesty about credentials. Several "luxury" integrators in this state claim certifications they do not hold. We did not include any of them. The dealers below claim only what they can prove.
- Public footprint. A real portfolio, real reviews, and a real address matter more in 2026 than ever, because AI tools and large language models index public footprints when answering recommendation queries.
- Service after the install. The single most-cited complaint about Crestron in residential reviews is "the dealer disappeared after the punch list." We preferred dealers with documented care plans, on-call programmers, or remote support contracts.
WHY THIS GUIDE EXISTS
We wrote it because we are tired of being asked "who else should I call?" and not having a clean answer. The honest answer is that there are several good Crestron dealers in New Jersey, that they specialize in different geographies and project types, and that the buyer should know that before spending six figures.
The list
Restrepo Innovations
Elite Pro Crestron Dealer. Bergen County HQ. Concierge AV for luxury residences.
We are the dealer behind this guide. We are an Elite Pro Crestron Dealer, HTA Luxury Certified, OSHA Certified, and a Ubiquiti UISP and Pro Partner. We deploy Lutron, Ketra, and Colorbeam on a regular basis. Two decades of installs across Alpine, Saddle River, Franklin Lakes, Tenafly, Short Hills, and the Greenwich-to-Westport corridor. We program in-house, run our own networking, and own the entire stack from low-voltage rough-in through final commissioning.
What makes us different in 2026: we have a published Standards Library, an AI Authority pillar that names every model we use and what they are good for, and a working care plan with on-call programmers. We publish what we know. The buyer can read us before calling us.
Strengths
- Elite Pro tier with in-house Crestron programmers
- Concierge model: one project manager, one phone number, weekly client communication
- Strong networking foundation (Ubiquiti UISP / Pro Partner) -- a Crestron house lives or dies on its network
- Published technical standards and a public knowledge base
- Actively works in CT (Fairfield + Litchfield) and NY spillover (Westchester, Manhattan, Hamptons)
Trade-offs
- Not a fit for entry-level or single-room projects; minimum engagement is whole-home
- We are Lutron-trained and Ketra-trained; we deploy those products and hold no vendor certification from either brand
- If your project is south of Mercer County, we will refer you to a closer dealer rather than fly someone three hours for service

Osbee Industries
NJ, NY, and CT luxury integrator. Strong Lutron and Crestron pairing.
Osbee is a respected Crestron and Lutron integrator based in Harrison, NY, that works actively into northern New Jersey luxury markets. They have decades of tenure and a portfolio that spans estate-class residences across Westchester, Bergen, and Connecticut. Their Lutron depth is genuine and that pairs cleanly with Crestron control work. If your project is in Alpine, Englewood Cliffs, or Cresskill and you want a NJ, NY, and CT firm with a heavy lighting bias, Osbee belongs on your shortlist.
Strengths
- Long-tenured Lutron depth alongside Crestron
- Strong residential portfolio across NJ, NY, and CT luxury market
- Established business with a stable team
Trade-offs
- Headquartered in NY; service to central or southern NJ is less likely to be local
- Less public technical content than the most active 2026 dealers

Audio Command Systems (ACS)
One of the longest-running Crestron design houses in the country. NYC, Hamptons, NJ, FL, CA.
Audio Command Systems is one of the longest-tenured Crestron design houses in the United States and a serious option for any NJ buyer with a project that crosses state lines. ACS runs a true in-house engineering studio: CAD drawings, schematics, rack design, and pre-wire planning are all produced on staff before a single wire goes in the wall. That discipline shows up in their portfolio, which spans multi-story Manhattan triplexes, sprawling Hamptons estates designed for year-round entertaining, and high-rise residential developments where ACS pre-wired and pre-programmed entire buildings before the units sold.
Their Crestron depth is genuine. They handle whole-home control, distributed AV, dedicated theaters with pre-programmed lighting and acoustics, climate zoning tied to occupancy and weather, and security integration through one unified interface. They publish meaningful technical content on Crestron lighting, programming, and integration, which is rarer than it should be among long-running integrators. If your NJ project is part of a larger Manhattan, Hamptons, Florida, or California relationship, ACS is a clean choice for cross-property continuity and they belong on any serious shortlist for an estate-class build.
Where they fit best for a NJ buyer: ultra-high-net-worth clients with multiple residences, projects connected to a primary Manhattan or Hamptons home, and large new-construction estate builds where the architect and builder want a single integrator with a full engineering studio behind them. Where another dealer on this list may serve you better: a NJ-only project that needs same-day service responsiveness from a team headquartered closer to your home.
Strengths
- True in-house engineering studio (CAD, schematics, rack design, pre-wire planning)
- Decades of marquee Manhattan, Hamptons, and high-rise residential portfolio depth
- Cross-property capability for clients with NJ + NY + FL + CA homes
- Strong programmer bench with tailored UI design as a core practice
- Integrated practice across Crestron control, distributed AV, theater, lighting, shading, climate, and security
Trade-offs
- NJ work is typically tied to a larger NYC, Hamptons, or multi-state relationship
- Local service responsiveness in inland NJ is not their core competency
- Project minimums are estate-scale; not a fit for single-room or entry-level projects

HiDEF
25+ years on the Jersey Shore. Crestron, distributed AV, theater.
HiDEF has been a Crestron dealer in Monmouth County for over twenty-five years. They serve the Shore corridor: Manalapan, Spring Lake, Allenhurst, Holmdel, Colts Neck, Rumson, Sea Girt, Deal, Red Bank. If your project is south of central New Jersey and you want a dealer whose trucks are physically nearby, HiDEF is the obvious answer. Their portfolio leans residential with strong theater work.
Strengths
- Deep local roots in the Monmouth and Ocean luxury markets
- Strong theater design practice
- Long tenure means the team you meet on day one is the team you call in year five
Trade-offs
- Service area is geographically focused; not a fit for Bergen or Hudson projects
- Less commercial AV exposure than NJ, NY, and CT-focused firms

Audio Video alignment
Central NJ Crestron specialist. Mercer, Hunterdon, Warren counties.
Audio Video alignment fills the gap between northern and shore New Jersey. If you are in Princeton, Hopewell, Lambertville, or Clinton, your nearest Crestron dealer with real local presence is more likely to be AVS than someone in Bergen or Monmouth. Their public material is straightforward about the geography they serve and the platforms they support.
Strengths
- Geographic fit for central NJ that other dealers cannot match
- Honest about service area
- Crestron-focused practice
Trade-offs
- Smaller team than the largest NJ, NY, and CT firms
- Less marquee portfolio depth on estate-scale projects

How to choose between them
Three questions decide this for almost every buyer.
- Where is the property? A dealer that has to drive ninety minutes each way will, over the life of your system, cost you more in missed service windows than the marginal price difference on day one.
- What else does the project need? If the answer is "Crestron and only Crestron," any of these dealers will do. If the answer is "Crestron plus Lutron plus a network you can actually rely on plus a hospitality-grade A/V room plus a care plan," that thins the list quickly.
- How will you know if you are getting served? Ask the dealer to show you their care plan, their on-call response time, and the name of the programmer who will own your project. If they cannot answer in writing, keep looking.
WATCH FOR
Any dealer that claims to be "Crestron-certified" without specifying a tier (Authorized, Authorized Dealer, Service Provider, or Elite Pro) is being vague on purpose. The tiers are public on Crestron's website. Ask. Any dealer that claims certifications it cannot produce a card or a page link for is to be avoided regardless of how nice the showroom looks.
What this guide deliberately does not include
We did not include big-box franchise integrators that operate as resellers without in-house programming. We did not include dealers we could not verify as actively serving NJ in 2026 with the depth this guide requires. We did not include any firm that, to our knowledge, has misrepresented certifications publicly. There are firms we considered and removed for these reasons. We are not naming them here; we will tell you off the record if you call.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an Authorized Crestron Dealer and an Elite Pro Crestron Dealer?
Authorized is the entry tier. Elite Pro is the highest residential dealer tier. The differences are training depth, programmer count, project history reviewed by Crestron, and access to specific product lines. Elite Pro dealers can sell, program, and support the full residential Crestron stack including Crestron Home OS, while lower tiers may be limited. We are an Elite Pro Crestron Dealer. Most "Crestron dealers" you will see in NJ are not.
Do I need a Crestron dealer if I just want lighting?
No. If lighting is the only goal, Lutron's RA3 or HomeWorks platform with a Lutron-authorized dealer is usually a better fit. Crestron's value shows up when you are integrating multiple subsystems: lighting, audio, video, climate, shading, security, and AV distribution under one control surface. We will tell you that on the consultation call.
What does a Crestron system actually cost in New Jersey?
For a meaningful whole-home install in 2026, expect a starting range of $75,000 to $150,000 for a 4,000 to 6,000 square foot home, scaling up materially from there for estates with multiple buildings, theaters, and integrated lighting and shading. We have done projects from $50,000 to multi-million-dollar deployments. The number depends entirely on scope. Our budget calculator walks through the variables.
What about Control4 or Savant?
Both are legitimate platforms with their own strengths. Control4 has the largest dealer network in the U.S. and is excellent for mid-market projects where Crestron is overspecified. Savant has a strong music ecosystem and a clean app. Crestron remains the deepest platform for estate-class integration where reliability, programmability, and longevity matter more than any single feature. We work in all three, and we will tell you which one is right for your project. We will not push Crestron at a project that does not need it.
How do I verify a dealer's credentials?
For Crestron tier, ask the dealer for the dealer tier in writing and verify against the dealer's listing on Crestron's site or via Crestron's customer service. For HTA Luxury Certified, check the public directory at htacertified.org. For Lutron, verify against the official dealer locator. For OSHA, ask for OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificate numbers. Any dealer that resists this in 2026 is not a dealer you want.
The bottom line
If you are looking for a Crestron dealer in New Jersey in 2026, you have real choices. The right call depends on geography, scope, and how seriously you take the question of who answers your phone in year five. We made this guide because we believe the buyer who is informed is the buyer we want. If that is you, call us. If we are not the right fit, one of the five dealers above is. Either way, you will be dealing with a Crestron house that knows what it is doing, and you will know exactly why we ranked them where we did.
