Elite Pro Crestron Dealer. NJ · CT · NY

Restrepo Innovations is an
Elite Pro Crestron Dealer.

The highest tier of Crestron certification. held by a small group of integrators across NJ, NY, and CT. If your home demands Crestron done at the highest level, this is where to start.

What is a Crestron Elite Pro dealer?

Crestron. the New Jersey-headquartered company that manufactures the control systems behind some of the most sophisticated homes, boardrooms, and facilities in the world. does not treat all of its dealers the same way. The company operates a structured tier program that separates authorized resellers from dealers who have earned higher levels of training, staffing, and project experience.

At the top of that structure is the Elite Pro designation. It is not a title that comes with signing a dealer agreement. It requires documented project experience, multiple factory-trained and certified Crestron programmers on staff, completed training across Crestron’s product lines, and ongoing recertification. The lower tiers in the Crestron program. Authorized, Silver, Gold, Diamond. reflect progressively higher commitments, but Elite Pro is the top.

What distinguishes Elite Pro dealers in practice: the staff can actually program, not just install. Crestron programming is a real discipline. configuring touch panels, writing control logic, building driver integrations with third-party systems, troubleshooting cross-platform communication. Many dealers in the market can pull wire and mount hardware. Far fewer have the in-house programming staff and the documented field experience to match. Elite Pro requires both.

Most Crestron dealers in the NJ, NY, and CT region do not publicly state their Crestron tier. Restrepo does, because it is the credential that draws the clearest line between integrators who can handle complex residential projects and those who cannot.

What you actually get with an Elite Pro dealer vs. a standard Crestron installer

The differences are not abstract. For a homeowner running a serious project. a new build with 20+ zones of control, a multi-wing estate, or a renovation that involves Crestron talking to Lutron, Ketra, a home theater processor, and a distributed audio system. the gap between a standard dealer and an Elite Pro dealer shows up in real ways.

Direct access to Crestron engineering

Elite Pro dealers have a direct line to Crestron’s technical and engineering support that lower-tier dealers do not. When a complex issue arises mid-project, the answer comes from the source.

Programmers who can actually program

Custom driver integrations, one-off logic, scene programming, system-wide troubleshooting. This requires staff who completed Crestron’s programming curriculum. not just product installation training.

Firmware and feature updates first

Elite Pro status means earlier access to new Crestron Home OS versions, firmware updates, and new product releases. Your system does not wait in line for a trickle-down update cycle.

Better warranty support

Crestron’s warranty and replacement support paths are stronger for product registered and serviced through Elite Pro dealers. When hardware fails in a $3M build, that matters.

Custom one-off programming

No two high-end homes are alike. Elite Pro dealers can write custom control logic. specialized scenes, multi-system triggers, unique user interface layouts. that a standard installer will tell you is not possible.

Crestron Home OS and Flex platforms

Full access to Crestron Home OS. the residential platform designed for luxury homes. and Crestron Flex for unified communications. These platforms require an Elite Pro dealer relationship to deploy at scale.

What we use Crestron for
in luxury residential projects

Crestron is the central nervous system. It does not replace the best-in-class devices for each function. it talks to them, coordinates them, and gives the homeowner a single coherent interface to control everything. Every system below runs independently at its own high level and reports to Crestron as the unified controller.

  • Whole-Home Automation Unified control of every system in the home. a single touch panel, app, or voice command that coordinates lighting, climate, AV, shades, locks, and access. Crestron Home OS handles homes up to 100+ zones.
  • Lighting Control Crestron manages lighting scenes and coordinates with Lutron and Ketra (tunable white and dynamic color) systems that Restrepo designs, installs, and configures. Crestron is the brain. Lutron and Ketra are the execution layer. The result is scenes. Morning, Away, Entertain, Cinema. that shift multiple systems at once.
  • Audio / Video Distribution Multi-room audio and video routing with source switching (Kaleidescape, Apple TV, streaming), zone-by-zone volume, and matrix distribution. Full integration with Sonos for whole-home audio where it fits the project.
  • Climate Control HVAC scheduling and scene-based climate management. Crestron can integrate with HVAC systems, thermostats, and radiant floor controls so the house adjusts with occupancy and time-of-day without the homeowner touching a thermostat.
  • Motorized Shades Shade control through Crestron. scheduled by time of day, tied to lighting scenes, or triggered by conditions. Lutron Shades integration is common on projects where Lutron is the lighting backbone.
  • Security Integration Crestron integrates with access control, surveillance, door stations, and alarm systems. bringing them into the same unified interface and enabling logic like “Arrive Home” scenes that disarm the alarm, raise shades, and set lighting on approach.
  • AI-Assisted Scenes On newer Crestron Home OS projects, AI-informed scene suggestions and occupancy learning allow the system to adapt over time. adjusting default states based on observed patterns rather than requiring manual reprogramming.

The kind of projects
an Elite Pro dealer handles

Below are representative examples of the project types Restrepo takes on. Specific client details are not published. client privacy is taken seriously on projects at this level.

12,000 sq ft new construction. Alpine, NJ

Townhouse renovation. Greenwich, CT

Crestron Home OS retrofit on an existing structure. Four-zone audio/video distribution, climate integration, motorized shade control, and a consolidated touch-panel interface replacing three separate apps. Completed in phases to minimize disruption to an occupied home.

Estate renovation. Westchester, NY

Crestron programming across 15 zones of AV and automation. Legacy systems from two prior integrators removed and replaced with a unified Crestron backbone. Full Sonos integration, Kaleidescape media server, security system integration, and remote monitoring setup for the property manager.

Hamptons second home. Southampton, NY

Crestron Home OS with Lutron lighting and motorized pergola shading. Remote management capability for seasonal arrivals. the owner can activate the house from a phone before departure. Full network infrastructure by Ubiquiti, supporting Crestron, security cameras, and multiple guest device environments.

Four credentials. Almost no
local competitor holds all four.

Most integrators in this market list zero certifications publicly. A few list one. Restrepo holds four that are verifiable, meaningful, and cover the full scope of what a high-end residential project requires.

Elite Pro Crestron Dealer

The highest tier of Crestron’s dealer program. Requires certified programmers on staff, documented project portfolio, and ongoing recertification. The credential this page is built around.

HTA Luxury Certified

The Home Technology Association’s certification for luxury residential integration. Covers project management, client communication, and delivery standards for high-value engagements. Very few local integrators list HTA Luxury status.

Ubiquiti UISP / Pro Partner

Enterprise-grade network infrastructure is the foundation of every modern smart home. Crestron, Lutron, and the rest only perform as well as the network underneath them. Ubiquiti Pro Partner status means that foundation is built right.

OSHA Certified

OSHA certification matters for larger construction sites and commercial work. It signals a professional operation, not a one-person shop with no formal safety or compliance training.

Search any competitor in NJ, CT, or NY. If they have a Crestron page, check whether they state a tier. In almost every case, they will not. Restrepo states it because the credential is real and the difference it makes for your project is real.

Frequently asked questions

Crestron has a tiered dealer program with multiple levels of authorization. Elite Pro is the highest tier. Reaching it requires multiple factory-trained and certified programmers on staff, a documented portfolio of completed Crestron projects, ongoing recertification, and demonstrated field experience that lower-tier dealers have not completed. An Elite Pro dealer has access to Crestron’s direct engineering support, can execute custom one-off programming, and is qualified to work with the full Crestron product catalog including Crestron Home OS and Crestron Flex. A standard authorized dealer has passed baseline requirements but has not met the higher staffing, training, and experience standards the Elite Pro designation requires.
Yes. Restrepo designs, installs, and configures Lutron and Ketra lighting systems as part of complete home integration projects. Crestron functions as the central control brain, communicating with Lutron, Ketra, Sonos, Apple TV, Kaleidescape, and other platforms. Restrepo does not claim Lutron or Ketra certification titles. we claim what we hold: Elite Pro Crestron, HTA Luxury Certified, OSHA Certified, and Ubiquiti Pro Partner. Lutron and Ketra are systems we work with and configure as part of a full project.

The best way to determine fit is a project consultation. we will tell you honestly what makes sense.
