Training the current-generation of Coast Guard Officers
The United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut is one of five federal service academies and the only one where admission is based solely on merit. On a 100-acre campus along the Thames River, approximately 1,000 cadets pursue a rigorous four-year academic and leadership program. The Academy’s facilities span academic buildings, operational training spaces, and command areas that require sophisticated, reliable AV technology.
