About This Installation
Home of The Old Guard. Army Tradition and Operational Readiness
Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Arlington, Virginia is home to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment. The Old Guard. the Army’s official ceremonial unit and oldest active-duty infantry regiment. The base also houses the U.S. Army Band (“Pershing’s Own”) and Marine Corps support elements. Its position adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery and the Pentagon places it at the center of the Army’s highest-profile ceremonial and operational activities in the National Capital Region.
The installation’s AV requirements span two distinct domains: the ceremonial and public-facing needs of The Old Guard and Army Band, and the secure operational requirements of base headquarters and briefing rooms.
