A New Service
Home Technology Inspection
Independent inspection, documentation, valuation, and owner transfer for homes with meaningful technology investments. Serving NJ, NY, and CT.
The Problem
Technology Is the Blind Spot in Every Real Estate Transaction
Standard home inspectors check structure, HVAC, roof, and plumbing. Nobody tests the Crestron system. Nobody validates the network infrastructure. Nobody confirms the AV system actually works or that the smart home programming is intact. Nobody transfers ownership of the accounts and credentials.
We do. We are the only luxury AV and automation integrator in the NJ, NY, and CT offering an independent, pre-transaction technology inspection as a standalone service.

The Process
How a Technology Inspection Works
Site Visit & System Audit
A senior technician walks the property, tests every system, documents every piece of equipment, and captures the state of programming, accounts, and infrastructure. Typical visit runs three to six hours depending on home size.
Written Inspection Report
A detailed PDF delivered within five business days. Equipment inventory, condition grades, firmware status, identified issues, photos, and recommended remediation. Written in plain English so any stakeholder can read it.
Repair Estimate & Fix List
For every issue we identify, we provide the cost to restore it. Whether you move forward with us or hand the list to another integrator, the numbers are real and the scope is defined.
Valuation & Replacement-Cost Letter
A signed document stating what it would cost to replicate the technology in the home today. Useful for listing pricing, appraisals, insurance, and estate valuations. This is information sellers and buyers rarely have access to.
Owner Transfer & Reset
At closing or transfer, we factory reset passwords, transfer account ownership on Crestron, Lutron, camera platforms, network equipment, and streaming services, and deliver a clean credential package to the new owner. No lingering access for the previous owner.

Common Questions
FAQ
How is this different from a standard home inspection?
Standard home inspectors check structure, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. They are not trained on Crestron programming, network design, AV calibration, or smart home credential transfer. A home with a six-figure technology package needs a specialist, and no one else in this market offers the service independently.
Do I need to be a current client?
No. Most inspection clients have never worked with us before. The inspection is an independent service. We are not trying to upsell you a new system. Our job is to tell you the truth about what is in the house and what it is worth.
Can the inspection help justify my asking price?
Yes. A replacement-cost valuation letter is something most listings never have. If a home has $180,000 in working technology, that is a real data point that supports pricing and gives your agent something to reference during negotiation.
What if the system is broken?
We document it, quote the repair, and let you decide. Sellers often fix issues before listing so the property shows well. Buyers often negotiate the repair cost into the closing price. Either way, knowing is better than not knowing.
How long does the inspection take?
The site visit itself is three to six hours for a typical luxury home. Larger estates may require a second day. The written report is delivered within five business days, faster if the transaction timeline requires it.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on home size, systems in scope, and turnaround requirements. We provide a fixed-price quote within 24 hours of an initial conversation. There are no surprise fees and no upsells.
