Founded by Jeremy Burkhardt. co-founder of SpeakerCraft. Origin Acoustics was built from the first day around a single conviction: that architectural speakers should be invisible without being audible as such. Based in San Juan Capistrano, CA, the brand has spent over a decade engineering speakers that dissolve into walls and ceilings while delivering sound quality that rivals exposed loudspeakers costing multiples more.
We brought Origin Acoustics into the Restrepo Group because their products hold up under scrutiny. The Director Series. ranging from the D39 to the D109. covers every room type and listening scenario in a luxury residence. Their BLENDS invisible speaker series, introduced in 2025, takes concealment to its logical end: a UL fire-rated, 8-ohm invisible speaker that mounts in walls or ceilings and disappears completely behind a skim coat of plaster. It is the first invisible speaker to earn UL fire-rating at 8 ohms, a distinction that matters for high-end residential projects where code compliance and insurance requirements are non-negotiable.
For outdoor spaces, Origin’s Seasons landscape speakers and Foundation subwoofers bring the same design discipline to patios, pools, and gardens. We specify and install these systems as part of complete outdoor entertainment environments. coordinating with landscapers, hardscapers, and lighting designers to ensure the audio infrastructure is buried, sealed, and protected before any surface work begins.

Every Origin Acoustics project starts with understanding the architecture. We walk the space. or review the drawings in pre-construction. and design an audio layout that accounts for ceiling heights, structural elements, HVAC runs, and the client’s listening preferences. We specify the right Origin Acoustics products for each zone, coordinate delivery and staging, and install every speaker ourselves.
After installation, we commission and calibrate the system using room correction tools and listening sessions with the client. You don’t deal with Origin Acoustics directly. we manage the specification, procurement, and warranty relationship. Your single point of contact is Restrepo Innovations, from the first conversation to the final adjustment.
