Important Notice for LiteTouch Owners

Savant acquired LiteTouch in 2012 and discontinued the entire product line in 2015. There is no manufacturer support, no official repair channel, no software updates, and no new parts being made. Replacement modules are only available used on eBay. and supply is drying up. If your system fails after a lightning storm, power surge, or simple component failure, you may have no way to get it running again without a full conversion.

What LiteTouch Owners Are Dealing With

If you bought or inherited a home with a LiteTouch lighting control system, you're not alone. and you're not imagining the problem. Thousands of homeowners across the country are living with a lighting control system that has zero manufacturer support and a shrinking pool of replacement parts.

Here's what we hear from LiteTouch owners every week:

  • "A lightning storm knocked out my system and nobody can fix it.". LiteTouch controllers are vulnerable to surges. Once the CCU or modules are fried, there's no manufacturer to call.
  • "I switched to LED bulbs and now everything flickers.". LiteTouch dimmers were designed for incandescent and halogen loads. LED compatibility requires specific dimmer matching that most homeowners can't navigate alone.
  • "Some keypads just stopped working and I can't find replacement parts.". LiteTouch keypads are proprietary. You can't swap in a standard switch from a hardware store. Used modules on eBay are the only option. and they're disappearing.
  • "I can't find anyone who even knows what LiteTouch is.". Most electricians and even many AV companies have never worked with LiteTouch. They'll either tell you to rip it out or walk away from the job.
  • "I was told it would cost six figures to replace my lighting system.". That's the quote you get when someone doesn't understand how to reuse the existing LiteTouch wiring infrastructure. The actual conversion cost is a fraction of that.

Two Proven Conversion Paths. Both Use Your Existing Wiring

The good news: your LiteTouch wiring infrastructure is still valuable. Both Crestron and Lutron offer conversion solutions that reuse your existing panel enclosures and keypad wiring. meaning no ripping open walls, no major construction, and no rewiring the entire house.
