The Three Things That Matter When Evaluating Any Firm
Acoustic competence. A home theater is a sealed room treated for the science of sound, not a dark room with speakers. Ask any installer to walk you through their acoustic treatment plan, their bass-trap layout, their RT60 target, and their isolation strategy against shared walls. If they cannot answer in detail, walk away.
Calibration certification. The screen, the projector, the speakers, and the room have to be measured and calibrated as a system. HTA Luxury is the meaningful credential.
A control system that holds up. A theater that loses one source on a Friday night is a failure. The right dealer is the one whose systems do not fail. Ask for references on theaters built more than three years ago and call them.

Project budgets typically range from 95K for a treated media room to 400K+ for a dedicated theater with full acoustic isolation, projector, motorized seating, and Atmos object audio. Lead time is 16 to 24 weeks from contract to commissioning.
