The driveway lights ramp up before sunset on rainy evenings, when ambient light drops earlier than the clock would predict. Battery storage discharges into the evening peak so your solar investment actually pays off the way the proposal promised.

Predictive maintenance is the same idea applied to the equipment itself. The system watches the rack: amplifier temperatures, processor uptime, network port errors, drive health on the NVR. When a metric starts trending the wrong way, we get a service ticket before you experience an outage. Most clients only notice this when something does not break on a holiday weekend.

Cloud services are used when they offer something genuinely better. mostly large language models that are too big to run locally. and only after we’ve had an honest conversation with you about what gets transmitted and what does not.

We document this. Clients get a written privacy summary alongside the system as-built. If anything changes. a vendor changes their data policy, a firmware update introduces new telemetry. we tell you. That part should be table stakes for anyone selling AI into a private home, and unfortunately it isn’t yet.
