How long does a Crestron installation take?

Crestron installation timelines depend on project size and whether rough-in work is happening during new construction or a retrofit. A focused residential deployment covering control, lighting, and distributed audio runs two to four weeks on-site. Large estates with multi-room AV, shading, climate, and custom programming can require six to eight weeks.

What this means for your project

On a recent Saddle River retrofit, rough-in ran three days, processor and touchpanel commissioning took two days, and programming occupied the final week. Total on-site time was nine days. Scheduling that correctly against the GC and other trades is where most timelines slip, not the Crestron work itself.
