How long does a Crestron installation take?

A Crestron installation timeline depends heavily on project scope and whether the work is part of new construction or a retrofit. For new construction, Crestron rough-in work (conduit, wire, back boxes) happens during the framing and electrical phase, months before trim-out. Programming and commissioning typically begin 6 to 12 weeks before a project is scheduled for occupancy. For a full luxury residential installation -- lighting, AV, climate, shading, networking -- commissioning and final programming commonly takes 2 to 4 weeks of on-site work. Retrofit projects in occupied homes require careful scheduling to minimize disruption.
